Congratulations to all winners and entrants who are taking part in the exhibition!
The Swiss & Italian Festa in collaboration with Dulux and the Savoia Hotel present the Landscape Art Prize and Exhibition, now in its 16th year and open to all artists. The Festa seeks works that represent the sense of place in the landscape around Hepburn Springs (within 25km radius of Hepburn Springs Post Office). The winning entry will receive a cash prize of $1,000 with prizes of $500 for second and $250 for third, all proudly donated by Dulux. The judge for this year's event is Anita von Bibra, artist and director of Woodbine Art Gallery, Malmsbury.
Savoia Hotel
The Savoia Hotel was originally built in 1870 by Michele Bodella as The Spring Creek Hotel and Savoia House. Michele was on the 1864 committee to protect the Hepburn mineral water springs from damage due to mining and also ran an Italian Reading Room on the premises.
