The Old Stonehouse – Swiss Italian Festa Sunday

Step back into the region’s Swiss Italian heritage with a visit to The Old Stonehouse at Yandoit Hills on Sunday 25 October. Once the Gervasoni Homestead, this historic property will open its doors as part of the Swiss Italian Festa celebrations, with guided tours of the Stonehouse, bullboar sausages, house wines, coffee and cakes, bocce on the lawn, and the chance to meet the resident donkeys and Highland cows. A relaxed day of history, food and local hospitality, celebrating the people and traditions that helped shape our region.

Where, When & Food

The Old Stonehouse is located at 390 Yandoit Creek Road, Yandoit Hills, and will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday 25 October 2026. Come for a tour, stay for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon on the property with family and friends.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day, including traditional bullboar sausages, house wines, coffee and homemade cakes. Grab something to eat, enjoy a glass of local wine and settle in for a game of bocce on the lawn while taking in the historic surrounds of this special Swiss Italian homestead.
